It’s Time To Start Planning Your Summer Cruise

Warm weather and summer sailing will be here sooner than we think, so now is the time to start making your cruising plans for the coming summer. Dockwa has made reserving for moorings or slips easier than ever, but it’s also brought forward the date when many high-demand ports sell out. With that in mind, NBYA thought we might share the dates when some popular cruising destinations in Buzzards Bay and the Islands will begin accepting Dockwa reservations. If your cruising plans for 2026 include overnights in these destinations, it might be prudent to make your reservations sooner rather than later.

• Newport - Oldport will start accepting reservations on 04/01/26 at 8:00 AM.
• Dutch Harbor – TPG Dutch Harbor Boat Yard is open for reservations. Click HERE
• Cuttyhunk – Inner Harbor mooring reservations open on 3/15/26 at 8:00 AM. Outer Harbor moorings are open for reservations. Click HERE
• Mattapoisett – Triad Boatworks and Brownell Systems Mooring are both open for reservations. Click HERE or HERE respectively.
• Marion – The Beverly Yacht Club is open for reservations. Click HERE
• Onset – The Town of Wareham Harbor Master will begin accepting reservations on 04/15/26 at 9:00 AM.
• Vineyard Haven – The Tisbury Harbormaster will begin accepting reservations on 4/01/26 at 9:00 AM.
• Edgartown - The Edgartown Harbormaster will begin accepting reservations on 42/19/26 at 10:00 AM.
• Nantucket – Nantucket Moorings will begin accepting reservations on 03/16/26 at 8:00 AM.
