A Women’s Sailing Networking & Skill-Building Event
April 28 | 6:00 – 9:00 PM | Wickford Yacht Club 

Join a welcoming community of women who share a passion for sailing at a one-night interactive event featuring small-group table discussions led by experienced sailors and instructors. Participants will rotate through two or three discussions during the evening, giving you the opportunity to explore multiple topics and perspectives.

Topics will include:

VHF Radio best practices
Docking and close quarters maneuvering
Sail trim and performance basics
Outboard motor concepts, operating, and problem-solving
Weather awareness and decision-making
Anchoring Best Practices
Understanding Navigational Aids and Right of Way Rules
Picking the right sail plan given sea and weather conditions

Who Should Come?
All women sailors are welcome—from curious beginners to experienced racers and cruisers. Each attendee is also welcome to bring one guest (male or female) who shares an interest in sailing.
