All sailors with some sailing dinghy experience are invited. You do not need to be a member of the Bristol Yacht Club or any other Club to participate. This demo day is being organized in conjunction with the 2026 RS Aero Women’s North American Championship Regatta, which is occurring at the Bristol Yacht Club on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 – 4.
RS Aeros are a relatively new class of light and quick single-handed sailboat. The boat comes in four different rig sizes for sailors of all sizes/skills. It’s similar to a Laser/ILCA. There are a few Aeros that sail at Bristol Yacht Club during our frostbiting season.
Participants will sign up for an approximate sailing time and then be delivered via motorboat to the RS Aero to enjoy a short Aero sail without even the task of rigging and launching. For more info and to register, email RSAeroRegatta@BristolYC.com.
