The NBYA 2013 Schedule of Junior Events
The 2013 Narragansett Bay Junior Racing Schedule is now finalized. In addition to the events listed below, the US Sailing Area A qualifiers to the US Sailing’s Chubb U.S.Junior Championships are;
The Sears Cup (Triple handed); Piers Park Sailing Center, July 15th&16th. (There will be an NBYA qualifier if needed, more info to follow)
The Smythe Trophy (single handed, Laser Radials-open event); Stone Horse Yacht Club, July 19th.
The Bemis Trophy (double handed, Club 420′s-open event); Marblehead Race Week, July 22nd-24th.
To enter NBYA events, all sailors must submit a Waiver of Liability and Medical Consent form signed by a parent or guardian prior to competing in any regatta. This form should be completed at least once per season.
If a sailor has never participated in an NBYA Junior Regatta they may be eligible for our First Race NBYA Membership Waiver. This “free trial” is available to first time Opti sailors ONLY. Details in the Junior Regatta category of the NBYA Shop.
