The 2014 NBYA Junior Olympics (also referred to as Race Week) will be held in North Kingston, RI at Compass Rose Beach.

This year’s event will be a new, exciting format of expanded clinics with outstanding national coaches and presenters PLUS racing at our exciting new venue!

A total win/win, learning, skill improvement and involvement for everyone, sailors, coaches, parents and race committee volunteers.

Compass Rose Beach is owned and operated by the Quonset Development Corporation on Narragansett Blvd in North Kingstown.  Planning is in progress, complete details for this exciting event are forthcoming, including clinics sponsored by US Sailing.

Compass Rose Beach, near the Electric Boat plant, is a hidden gem that attracts visitors from nearby businesses at lunchtime on weekdays. Most of them stay in the beach’s spacious parking area, and a few linger on the grass above the beach. The business park’s industrial presence flanks the beach, but straight ahead is a stunning view of the Bay’s West Passage.
