Arrival and Boat Drop Off
Please plan to arrive Sunday from 4:30pm to 7pm or Monday 7:30- 9am.   Ft Getty is a Town Park and we have permission to be there starting at 4:30pm Sunday.  PLEASE DO NOT COME BEFORE THIS TIME, YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY AT THE PARK ENTRANCE.

Volunteers will be on hand to assist with boat drop off, trailer and car parking.  During the week we are sharing space with Jamestown Sea Adventure Camp and parents will be dropping off/picking kids up for camp.  Please be respectful of this group and their space.

Moorings- ACTION ITEM: If you are bringing any boat or boats that will need moorings, please let us know the number of boats and their sizes. Meg Myles needs this information by Monday, August 3 12 pm at the latest.   If you do not send her that information, you may not have a mooring.  meg@conanicutyachtclub.org.

There may be opportunities to anchor boats as well, so please be sure to have your boats equipped with anchors and enough rode to hold over night.

Dutch Harbor Boat Yard has agreed to allow their launch to be used to get people back and forth. They are on VHF 69. Please be patient – they are doing this as a courtesy for our event.

Fort Getty Pier – can be used for temporary tie up in the morning and evenings. Boats may NOT be tied to the Pier overnight.

Volunteers- If anyone would like to volunteer please contact Meg.

Volunteer and Race Committee Lunches- We will be providing lunch for all on the water volunteers (Race Committee) and any volunteers on land during lunchtime.  Please make sure a lunch request form has been submitted at registration on Sunday.

Sailor’s and Coaches: Food- Breakfast/Lunches are not provided for sailors or coaches.  Please make your own arrangements for breakfast and lunch. McQuades market in town is the closest option for food.  Dinner will be available immediately after racing on Monday and Tuesday for hungry sailors.  Additional dinners may be purchased (Monday $10 and Tuesday $15).  Snacks/Ice Cream will be served at awards on Wednesday.
